Personalized Design of Dials? Custom Labeling of Signs or Front Panels? The possibilities of N-Gen printing inks are limitless!
Tritron’s thermally curing N-Gen printing inks are highly pigmented, water-based inks specially developed for the direct printing of porous and non-porous materials. They deliver highly durable and photorealistic print images in the highest resolution on almost any surface. With the help of thermal curing, particularly tough and scratch-resistant color films can be produced. Further information about the product, typical application examples, and proper handling can be found in the manufacturer’s brochure.
Industrial Applications
The precise printing and thermal fixation ensure the highest print quality on almost any surface. The print results are characterized by high print quality, excellent adhesion, and extremely high resistances. The printing process consists of 3 steps:
Before printing, clean the surface with the appropriate pretreatment. For larger surfaces, use an atomizing sprayer to ensure a smooth, even coating. Pretreated surfaces need to dry by evaporation for 30 seconds. Once the pretreatment is dry, the substrate is ready to be printed.
N-Gen inks are highly pigmented, water-based inkjet inks that cure when heat is applied. Once cured, N-Gen inks are incredibly durable, with a strong resistance to most solvents.
To deliver outstanding image permanence, N-Gen inks need to be cured with heat. At 90 °C, the inks begin to cure. Regarding this temperature, the printed image should cure for approximately ten (10) minutes to ensure optimal results. At temperatures above 160 °C, the inks cure to become exceedingly permanent and scratch resistant; at this temperature the curing time is reduced to one (1) minute.
